The Whole Story: Looking for PEACEFUL Chain O' Lakes living? It really IS possible! If living on the Chain appeals to you but you don't want to be in the midst of all the hubbub, Otter Lake would be a great choice and the west side of Otter Lake the best choice. Because Otter Lake is not a ski lake and it's not a lake you need to go through to get to a ski lake, it isn't as busy as some lakes. If you live on the west side of the lake, you're on a dead end street, so again, it won't be as busy. You also don't have neighbors as close to you as you do on the majority of the Chain. This home sits on approximately .88 acres and has approximately 125' of frontage (acreage and frontage per GIS). Peaceful is good, but you want a nice house too. I really don't think you'll be disappointed here! On the main level you have a large living room with big windows providing a lot of natural lighting and a woodstove for those chilly days. The eat-in kitchen has an island for extra work space and storage. The refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher will all stay with the home. Two extras that you may really appreciate are the walk-in pantry with built-in cabinets and the closet that contains the central music center to play music throughout house. The master bedroom with double closets and a full bath, as well as a half bath with laundry are also on the main level. The upper level consists of 2 more bedrooms and another full bath. The bedrooms are large and both have over sized closets. For those of you who never seem to have enough storage space, besides all the closets in this home and the full basement, you're going to have an additional 10' x 23', walk-in storage room above the garage. The best part of this is that you don't climb some ladder in the garage to get to it. You access it through a regular door in one of the upper level bedrooms. The walk-out basement has both a single entry door and a double door for ease of getting large items in and out. The basement not only provides more storage but can also be used for a shop, a rec room or whatever your needs are. There is drywall up on several walls so if you needed more finished area it wouldn't take too much to do. There is another half bath down there. When you want to be outside and you're not out enjoying the lakes, you're going to be hard pressed trying to decide where you want to spend your time. You'll be torn between the 12' x 28' deck, the covered front porch where you can admire the flower garden in the front yard or the 16' x 16' screen room down by the lake. The property also has a 2 story boat house (16' x 24') and a 6' x 34' dock that does not need to be removed in winter. Here are a few other things you might want to know. The house has wide planked pine flooring throughout and it's very attractive by the way. The house is about 10 years old and has approximately 2200 square feet of living area. There's a 24' x 24' attached garage and the seller will provide a home warranty. Nice house, quiet area, on the Chain...what more could you ask for?
