The Whole Story:
There are so many things I like about this house that I don't even know where to begin telling you
about them all. So I guess I'll just start.
Here are some basics that you'll definitely want to know. There are a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 baths
with 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 in the walk-out lower level. There is a full bath on each level
PLUS the master bath on the main level. The home is about 5 years
old, has over 2500 square feet of finished living area and sits on 5 acres.
Sounds good so far doesn't it? And I haven't even told you about any of the really cool stuff!
When you walk in the front door you're entering the open concept kitchen, dining area and living room.
You won't know what to look at first...the cedar tongue and groove cathedral ceiling, the solid Amish
hand scraped Hickory floors, all the Hickory cabinets in the kitchen or maybe all the windows that keep
the space light and bright. The living room has doors to the 10' x 18' covered deck where you can sip
coffee as you watch the sunrise. By the way, because of the way the house is sitting, you can see the
sun as it's setting too.
The home offers a split bedroom plan for privacy. On one side of the home you'll find the master bedroom
with a walk-in closet and a bathroom that you will fall in love with. The cabinetry is plentiful, the
tile work around the corner shower and the whirlpool tub is very attractive plus the seat surrounding the
whirlpool is heated. Nice touch! On the other side of the home is where the second bedroom, the second bath
and the entryway from the garage are found. Another nice touch is the built in bench with storage in the
entryway. No more tipping over when you're trying to put your boots on!
The walk-out lower level has a 13' x 30' family room, the laundry room, 2 bedrooms, a full bath and an
unfinished storage room which could potentially be made into a 5th bedroom. There are doors to the 10' x 18'
patio from the family room. What are you going to do with all this room? Wow!
Here are some other really important things that you'll want to know about. With utility costs as high as they
are, you'll be happy to know that this home has a geothermal open loop heating system and Anderson windows
and doors throughout. Both of those items will help keep your heating costs down. Some of the rooms have heated
tile flooring and all interior doors are Hickory. A central vac "system" is installed, it just needs the vac
itself. The house is ready for a deck outside the master bedroom including the sonotubes and wiring for a hot
tub. Apple, pear, plum and crabapple trees have been planted out front.
I'm sure I've forgotten to tell you something so you just need to come and see it for yourself!
